Yard Force Aquajet Review

Published By -

We’ve bought the Yard Force Aquajet, unboxed it, put it together and tested it extensively. We paid particular attention to these points:

  • Is the device easy to assemble?
  • How easily can it be moved and transported?
  • How does the general quality feel?
  • How easy is it to set up the device?
  • How quickly and reliably can stubborn dirt be removed?
  • Is it comfortable to work with?

In this review we will share our experiences.

How we tested

We tested it in an allotment garden without electricity or running water. In the process, we cleaned dirty garden tools.

The set-up is very simple and unproblematic, the overall quality feels good:

  • Attach the lance to the device and the nozzle head to the lance
  • Attach the suction hose to the unit and the water filter to the hose
  • Insert the battery
  • Fill the foldable bucket provided with water
  • Place the suction hose into the bucket

For comfortable cleaning, the handle of the unit can be turned downwards. Then loosen the safety bolt, pull the lever and the unit starts to suck in water. It takes a moment until the water shoots out of the nozzle with sufficient pressure. The cleaning can begin.

There are three different nozzle settings: a shower, as well as a medium and a concentrated jet for heavier dirt.

Cleaning is easy, but the device including the lance is relatively short, i.e., you have to bend down to clean objects on the floor. You soon feel this in your back, especially when you’re older or very tall.

Smaller objects such as garden tools, bicycles or even small boats can be cleaned well. A whole car cannot be cleaned thoroughly with one battery charge. You either have to buy a second battery or charge it a second time.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Quick and easy set up
  • Large scope of delivery
  • Battery charges fast
  • Very good price/performance ratio

Cons

  • The battery runtime is short
  • Battery upgrade not possible

Should you buy the Yard Force Aquajet?

For smaller cleaning tasks such as garden tools, bicycles, outdoor toys, small boats, etc., the Aquajet is excellent.

Just don’t expect too much; for cleaning patios, driveways, entire vehicles, SUV’s, etc. the Aquajet is not suitable.

If you are aware of this, you will not be disappointed.
